Please allow me to use my heroes as henchmen.
I know this has been asked for in various guises but I am asking for this again because I cannot set up the builds for the henchmen. I do not mind if I do not gain single flagging or the ability to disable spells. They could be set up to be in agro mode or left in the mode they were last used as standardly used heroes.

My translation:

Basically he wants you to be able to have a full hero party, and if ANet is so concerned about balance, he says he doesn't mind if you can only control 3 and the others you have no control over when they are in a "henchman" slot aside from what build you give em.

What don't you understand? When you elect heroes they occupy the first three slots. These spots are for standardly used heroes. There are three flags numbered 1 2 3 which allows you to set them individually. You can set the henchmen with the group flag. Of course you can release the heroes individually and keep the henchmen flagged. The standard heroes allow you to micro manage them by electing the spells you want them to play. You can also set them up in agro, guard and dove mode. I would like to be able to elect heroes that behave like the henchmen, that is no fine control. By the way it is English and not english.

So basically your just asking that you want a full hero party?or that you want to be able to choose which skills your henchmen/heroes are using?or that you want to be able to flag the henchies and heroes without making get agro the mob?

uhh... lolwut? are you honestly suggesting that Henchmen are preferable to heroes, and that heroes should lose everything that makes them useful? (flagging, build setup, equipment, disabling skills)
wow, thought i had seen everything. i can understand a rant about people being superior to heroes, but HENCHMEN superior to heroes? sorry, but i say /notsigned. i dont want to see Ogden [Healer Henchman], and i doubt many people do.

full party of heroes is something iv wanted for ever. but anet has to force henchmen down our throats because players bitch and whine about not having people to party with or because they run the same areas with their cloned builds.

Can't say I expected so much flaming for such an obvious request even though not worded perfectly. Full hero team sounds like fun. More options for the masses.

On the contrary, it's the noobs who are forced to group with people because they suck so bad not even the AI can drag them through the game - they need other players to make up for their incomptetence, and heroes and hench are as only as good as the leader.

No. The problem isn't the Henchmen's build but rather your own build, including how you play your build.
If you are struggling with a particular area, the post the area in question and maybe we can help you with some strategies. Also invite an player(s) in your group as you will learn loads more how to win than trying to do it yourself.
